I downloaded ITR 2 excel utility Assessment year 2018-19.
In TDS segment, Other than salary TDS , column no 5 showing year 2016 & below (financial year in which TDS deducted)
Actually TDS deducted in 2017-18 year

What to do Please guide

Why are you looking at column 5...Column 5 and 6 are for unclaimed TDS of earlier years bought forward . ( not previous year 2017 )..

Why are you looking at column 5...Column 5 and 6 are for unclaimed TDS of earlier years  bought forward . ( not previous year  2017 )..                                                                                        <br />    Column 7 is for TDS for current year( implying previous year 2017 ) ..Fill your TDS figures appearing in 26AS  here and more importantly don't forget to claim it in your own hands in  column 9 else deducted TDS simply doesn't translate into tax credit unless you claim it. Hello Deepak as per ay 18-19 the nri cannot file itr1,. And moreover if you want to file itr of loss of return you have to choose itr2 for that will be appropriate

There is nothing very difficult in ITR 2 ...it is same concept of return filing , just that you shall fill up income schedules that apply to your scope of taxable income i.e salary and House property schedules ....

what i see happens in your case is that some portion of unadjusted income from House ...

I will make a tutorial for this...basically you are trying to seek tax credit for deducted TDS using the TDS schedule ...if this simple understanding is clear , then you will leave the bought forward columns blank and fill in in the interest credited for the income year under the respective column ....
