Difference in salary figures in form 16 and 26 as...
hi sir...
I have a query relating to ay 2018-19 to which I have already filed my return before due date.
my father is a salried Person so he get Form 16 ( Part a and Part b ) every year.

In the return I have furnished the total income which is shown in Form 16 (part a) which is same to the amount....

Your employer has filed TDS return incorrectly ...your income should have been 1102150 Rs only ...you must revise return to show this correct figure...You can take up with employer to get the TDS return corrected ............

sir ialso have income from retail shop and other sources but loss in shares delivery based a small amount which i donot want to carry forward or show in itr this time so itr 2 possible or not??/

Hi Amlan,
Que 1:
(a) In my 26 AS ,employer not booked/shown salary for 04/2017 to 06/2017, whereas TDS has been deducted in last months salary and booked correctly as shown in Form 16.
Will this is alright , or it is necessary to book all income in 26 AS?
(b). My Savings Bank Interest is less than ...

You can surely show eligible investments under 80 C even if they don't reflect in form 16 i.e not considered by employer ....But , you shall receive a proposal for adjustment notice and you will need to respond to it using e assessment to citing proof to qualify for the deduction........

Sir, is there any problem if there is difference in 26AS salary total amount paid/credited figure and in form 16 Total Gross. My Gross is 7 lakhs in form 16 and my total amount paid in form 26 as is 54000

This happens when your employer does not file TDS returns properly for deposited salary TDS ...ask your employer to revise TDS returns so that form 26 as gets updated to reflect gross salary figures ...you can file return now also , there should not be any issue ...but ask your employer to revise TD...

No, you can not file under normal process .. if there was genuine hardship which prevented you from filing the return, you can request your assessing officer for condonation for delay in filing citing the hardship ...if he agrees to condone the delay, only then you can file belated return using s...
No,  you can not file under normal process .. if there was genuine hardship which prevented you from filing the return, you can request your assessing officer for condonation  for delay in filing citing the hardship  ...if he agrees to condone the delay, only then you can file belated return using section 139 with 119(2)(b)...check attached picture.
