The Employee's Provident Fund & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, applies to recognized PF. . Generally, EPF schemes floated by employers are recognized provident funds.

While showing income, arrears even if of multiple years has to be combined and offered for taxation...but for claiming relief , if arrears pertain to multiple years calculation for each year has to be taken into account ...you can check video for computation of relief for arrears of multiple years r...

Since I have already filled 10E form last year to show promotion arrears from 2012-2016.

My doubt is:

While filling this year 10E form (to show 7PC arrears from 2015-2017) whether

I should show total income of previous years (column 2 of 10E form) including promotion arrears or not ??

Both interest accrued and interest paid has to be offered ..Better to look at 26as( tax credit statement) for guidance in the matter

You can file ITR 1 and show this income under other sources........since no tax liability below 2.5 lakhs, you shall be filing a nil return ( assuming that no TDS has been deducted on any of your payments )
