Hi there , I 'm an employee of a private firm. no TDS , PF, and other facility only net pay. 18k PM , and also taken 2 lakhs advance in 2018 from the employer

please suggest which ITR should I file , do I need to show the advance amount in ITR

18000 per month translates to a annual income of 18000 x 12 = 216000 Rs ...Return filing is mandatory only when the gross total income exceeds threshold level i.e 2.5 lakhs ...In your case since the annual income is below threshold levels, you are not compulsorily required to file return of income.....

You may have forgotten to attach images ...anyways, from what i gather, you have missed to fill income schedule ...since you have income from profession so ITR 1 is not for you, you should be filling ITR 3 and filling the schedule for income from profession showing your income ........the error th...

I hold on to the opinion that person earning income in the nature of commission or brokerage cannot adopt the presumptive taxation scheme of section 44AD. No,it requires no action ...Intimation is nothing but preliminary assessment and if it matches absolutely the filed return, then it's a good sign that the department agrees totally with what has been filed in the tax return...
