Hi amlan bro.

I have received notice of non-filing income tax for the FY 2013-14.
I am taking ITR-4 as my income is from commission and share investment in FNO.

My question is....
Under which section I have to fill a return. Is it ok if I opted section 139(4).

I have fill up ITR1 as per employer FORM 16 in which I have put up refund amount but employer corrected my form 16 after 1 month in which no refund I have put up revised ITR1 ,BUT what I claim refund amount which is deposited in my account . How to correct this case ??

Since refund has already been processed , what it means that the department has already processed the case . As such , you are required to take up the matter directly with the department for rectification and explain your assessing officer directly the case and deposit back the refunded amount or wh...

Hi Amlan,
While filing ITR-1 form, do we have to mention anywhere the HRA and Conveyance allowance provided by the employer.
I see there is a field, D19 , i.e. Exempt income only for reporting purposes. Should these allowances be mentioned there or these don't have to be mentioned at all.

(Edited ) It would be a good thing to mention any exempt income in the reporting section
As such be it salary exempt allowances or any other exempt income ( LTCG , PF interest etc etc ) , it is always advisable to report them using exempt income reporting section ...
