Dear sir,
happy independence day.
Sir, I m filling the ITR-2 according to my income. After the filing the excel sheet of ITR-2, I m trying to upload the XML file again and again. But the following error is shown on the screen. Plz, help me to fix this error.

The schema error appears either on using a old utility or making some mistake in the field referred to ...i cannot advise further on this ...you may try creating xml file from java run utility and see whether that helps

  • 80 C Deduction- Life insurance premium, deferred annuity,.contributions to providend fund, etc
Dear Amlan, I have been filled itr 1 for fy 2018-19. But unfortunately, claim 80c deduction for my lic policy premium without gst.Can I face any problem in future?I donot have any tax liability.

There should be no problem .....department doesn't mind anyone claiming less .....like you rightly understand, you can claim GST amount alongwith the principal amount under section 80 C

Hema, it is always better to declare it ....see exempt is needed so that the department knows why the income is not being offered for tax ..once they understand that the income falls under exempt classified under section 10 , they will ask nothing further . I dont think we should use Sec 10(11) Statutory body for PPF. Simply it is better to go extreme bottom and use Any Other and mention "PPF INTEREST" and the amount.

Not needed but better to execute a gift deed for evidence and better to show it in ITR ...there is no such thing called threshold limit etc ...any amount from relative is exempt ...if it was not deposited in bank , then it could have been avoided ...now that it has been accounted better to show it ...
