Sir i have not filed income tax return for FY 2016-17. But i have received arrears of FY 2016-17 in FY 2017-18. Can i claim deductions u/s 89 using form 10E while filing return for FY 2017-18

Surely , you can ....submit form 10 E online before filling relief figures U/s 89 for relief to be considered.

Could you please tell me I worked in a private company for 7 months and in a public sector for 5 months should I calculatey salary separately for 7 months and only 5 months

You can show salary separately ...in this case you shall be needing ITR 2 then ...it is better to separate show salaries separately ...likewise in TDS schedule , don't combine TDS credit of 2 companies ...claim them separately ...next time , ensure to select question category carefully to avoid entr...

  • Deducted TDS not appearing in form 26 as
Dear Sir,
1) tds shown in form 16 by employer is 7000 but in from 26 AS tds on salary is 4000

This means that the employer had not filed TDS return properly ...take it up with him for TDS return correction ...only then your TDS figures shall get updated and your credit claimed in return shall be accepted by the department...next time be careful to select correct category
