Hi Amlan,
While filing ITR-1 form, in the TDS Schd-1 there is one field "Income under Salary".
In this should we put in as per form 26AS, the amount credited/paid by employer. Or should we refer the Form-16 and put in the Income chargeable under Salary.
Because the AO will check from the form 26AS on T...

Many people are unnecesarily complicating this issue ...This is not even a issue at all ...one can put either the gross income as reflecting in 26 as or taxable income i.e salary income after considering savings on which TDS is finally done...

To be honest , it doesn't matter which one you put and it...

Hi Amlan,
While filling ITR1 for AY2016-17, under "Tax details" --> "SCH TDS2", what is to be filled in the field "Unique TDS certificate Number"?

This is optional and not needed ...basically each quarter TDS certificate 16 A has it's own unique number....But better idea is to use 26 AS and put down TAN number of the deductor and claim consolidated credit of four quarters ...much easy and convenient ...important is to put TAN properly and see ...

प्रिय अमलान,

माफ़ किजेयेगा मेरी इंग्लिश इतनी आछी नहीं के मै इंग्लिश में आप को आपनी समस्या बयान करू. इसलिए हिंदी में भेज रहा हु.अलमान. मेरे पिताजी पिच्छाले साल गुजर गए... वे रिटायर थे... थोड़े कम पढ़े लिखे थे... लेकिन बहोत ही मेहेनात से एक एक पैसा जमा करके हमें आज एक इज्जत दार मुकाम पर पोहोचाकर चल बसे. कम पढ़े लिखे थे इसलिए टैक्स की जानकारी नहीं रखते थे.. या तो ठीक से नहीं समज पाते थे.वे २००४ में रिटायर हुए थे. तब उन्होंने आखरी बार अपना return फाइल किया था. और रिटायर होने के बाद उन्होंने return कभी फाइल नहीं किया. मैं स्टूडेंट था और उनके आर्थिक मामलों में दखल नहीं देता था. २००४ सेलेके २०१५ तक उन्होंने आपनी बचत से फिक्स्ड डिपाजिट बनाई रखीं थी. और उनको पेंशन भी मिलिती थी. जब वो गुजर गए तब उनकी अलमारी साफ़ करते समय मुज्हे उनकी पुरानी return पेश की हुयी फाइल मिली जिसमे पता चला की उननोहे २००४ त्तक ही retrun भरे है.... और जिस साल उनका देहांत हुवा उस साल उनकी केई अलाग अलाग fds से ६ लाख क ऊपर इंटरेस्ट मिला है. २०१४ से साल के पाहिले भी मिला होगा उसके डिटेल्स मुजे पता नहीं.... जादा पढ़ा लिखा न होना.. और एक दोस्त द्वारा बताया गया के रिटायर होने के बाद टैक्स भरना नहीं पड़ता एस कारन उन्होंने कभी रिटर्न्स नहीं भरे.... बैंक में भी १५G\15H देते थे... वो भी बैंक के क्लर्क द्वारा बताये जाने पर. जब उनका देहांत हुवा वे ६९ साल के थे.... उन्होंने जान बुज़ कर नहीं किया सये सब .. अब मुजे ये चिंता सता रही है के.. कभी भी मुजे टैक्स देपर्मेंट से नोटिस आ तो नहीं जायेगी.... अभी तक तो कोई नोटिस नहीं आयी है.... मै कोई टैक्स छुपाना नहीं चाहता.... और जानबुज़ कर नहीं पर गलती से जो घटा है पिताजी से उसको सुधारना चाहता हु.... मै अभी भी पीएचडी पढ़ रहा हु... खुद कमाता नहीं हु... कला शेत्र में पढाई सुरु है .... टैक्स की जानकारी मुजे बिक्लुक्ल नहीं.... अभी ऐसे परिस्थिति में मुज़े क्या करना चाहिए.... कृपया मार्ग दर्शन कीजिये.... आप की बड़ी मेहेरबानी होगी.... एक विनंती है के जवाब हिंदी मै दिजीयेगा..... पियांसू वर्मा

just select the PDF from view as drop arrow and click on view/download tab. after this popup window will ask for the path to save. give path and do the download....
