  • How to pay self assessment tax
Sir,
I paid my father etax thru sbi netbanking of Rs.830/- (self assessment). But the amount is deducted two times from my bank A/C and two different challan no.. I already submit ITR-1. Now what i will do for return. I show only one challan no against 830/-. Netbanking is myself.

You shall have to revise return and claim credit of the entire taxes paid under schedule IT (If due was 100 and you paid it twice , claim 200 Rs putting in proper details of challan)...return will accordingly compute refund ...

Sir, one of my relative get notice for ay 2010-11 from ao asking for outstanding demand notice u/s 245. He already paid taxes and also mate to ao for 3-4 time for same but still notice is not cleared and now they deduct tax from this years refund what can he do now..?

Raise a ticket under E Nivaran and preferably meet the assessing officer and explain the case ...he will then pass the rectification and give your friend the due credit ..if all this fails , raise a appeal .check my video on how to raise a Appeal

Mere dost ne pichla return (ITR 1) mein dakhil kiya Tha aur uska refund bhi ho gaya hai baad mein pata chala ki uska return (ITR 4 ) mein dakhil hona tha kiya ab ye return revised ho sakta hai

Here, return cannot be revised since return has already been processed. Go and meet the assessing officer and seek rectification of order. ( Note - For FY 2017 18 , Return can only be revised until the end of the assessment year or completion of assessment whichever is earlier )
