sir, can any one avail benefits of deduction U/s 80TTA for ICICI sweep account for the AY 2019-20 ?

This benefit is only available to savings account ...am not sure of sweep account nature..made to understand that they are of saving nature only so
80 TTA benefit may be applicable ...consider a second opinion

Dear Amlan,
8 months salary drawn as govt employee and 4 months drawn pensioner.
For 8 months salary, a sum of 1600 ptax have been deducted.
Now how to file ITR 1?
If I select "nature of employment" as pensioner then ptax row is blocked. So how to take ptax deduction benefit?

Simple, select nature of employment as salaried since anyways the major part of the year income has been derived from salary ...same explanation can be provided to the assessing officer if case taken up for scrutiny

You are required to take up with your deductor ...this happens when they don't file their tds returns properly matching income and TDS details..once they update it , your 26 as will also get updated
