26 AS usually shows total salary credited i.e gross figures whereas form 16 Part B contains breakup first showing gross salary and then arriving at the chargeable salary on account of standard deductions .... the department would therefore be able to understand why the 26 as credited gross salary is...

Did you claim TDS properly by putting in correct TAN entries and claiming correct TDS against each deductor ...if yes, there is no reason for department not to consider ...you may try meeting your assessing officer ...i think rectification for tax credit mismatch along with a visit to the assessing ...

Hello Sir,
I want to fill ITR2 form. As per my understanding I need to download pre-filed XML so that it can help me to put pre filled data in to excel sheet.
But unfortunately for Assessment year 2019-2020 it's not showing ITR form 2 in list.

Is there any way yo get pre-filed data to filled ITR2 form....

Not this year alone, no year the ITR 2 and other forms are available in quick filing utility mode, try downloading java utility and you can prefill ...the pre filed xml doesn't work like this ...prefill shall fill your personal details, TDS details ...this year onwards they are prefilling salary det...

1.Appears to me case of commuted pension .since it is given to her, it is now her income and not father's......Commuted pension in the hands of family member is exempt ( deductor should not have deducted TDS) ....she will show deceased husbands pension income but under exempt section ...regards fami...
