My total taxable income is 609170 for AY 2018-19. I have paid 35364 rs as tax .
Out of this income 100513 was arrear and for this I have filled 10E form. According to 10E form 20706 will be refunded to me.

The taxable income has reduced due to the 80 c deduction ..i cannot do the calculations etc for you ...the return should do it and you are advised to check the return properly for it does half the work in tax computation .....form 10 e doesn't show refund , it shows relief which you claim under sect...

Check the field for section 10 exemption ...this should also be listed in the form .. i.e it may be transport allowance etc etc ...accordingly the section shall be selected ...for example transport allowance is covered under section 10 (14)

To be honest , the department is sending the notice to only those people whose interest income appears in Form 26 AS ..here it won't , so don't worry ...but it is better to show such income under other sources and claim deduction benefit under 80 TTA even if the same has not been declared to the emp...
