Hello All,

Today I got a mail from income tax dept an intimation u/s 143(1).The date of order us 15 Oct 2017 and the pdf document says that i will get a refund of around 5000 . So my question is when this amount of ITR will be credited to my bank account ?

There is no fixed time frame and the process may vary from 15 days to 2 months .....under the dashboard section , you may check the status of your refund and may raise a grievance if the refund process gets delayed

I am not sure if i understood the question correctly ...you must not select a business if you are using 44ADA (* which is meant for professionals ) ...simply select professional code matching your wife job and you should be able to use the section 44ADA

Simply , for her registered account in the tax website, head towards compliance and select reason for non filing to be - Taxable income below threshold level since her income was anyways below minimum threshold of 2.5 lakhs for the concerned financial year!
