salary under salary schedule , what is preventing you .........yes , you can get benefit of HRA by reducing it from the gross income or taxable i.e non exempt allowances ...and yes since you belong to the list of specified /notified professions as listed in 44AA(1) , so you can take benefit of 44ADA...

You are required to show only the amount of 26 as interest on fd as others income moreover don't forget to fill tds schedule of same If tds is been deducted.

Contact bank to update TDS return properly so that the figures appearing in interest certificate get updated in 26 as ....you can then show the 26 as figures and claim credit for the deducted TDS

While showing income, arrears even if of multiple years has to be combined and offered for taxation...but for claiming relief , if arrears pertain to multiple years calculation for each year has to be taken into account ...you can check video for computation of relief for arrears of multiple years r...

Since I have already filled 10E form last year to show promotion arrears from 2012-2016.

My doubt is:

While filling this year 10E form (to show 7PC arrears from 2015-2017) whether

I should show total income of previous years (column 2 of 10E form) including promotion arrears or not ??
