1.) In income , schedule under salary - You will mention his basic pay without exempt commutation...the exempt commutation should be mentioned in exempt income reporting section

2.) You can edit the existing row to prefill with correct TDS ...No need of deleting and adding the extra row

You can use ITR 4 and make use of presumptive section 44ADA and show only 50% of gross receipts as professional income ......you can check my tutorials for 44ADA.......TDS under section 194 J must have been done at 10%....you can check your tax liability at 50% income and check whether this qualifie...

Dear sir, Under what section interest credited in PPF a/c in SBI is exempted. It is either 10(11) or 10(12) or any other section of clause 10. Whether PPF comes in statutory or recognize provident fund or in any other category.

  • Exempt HRA when not shown in Form 16
HRA was given to me by my employer in my payslip, however HRA was not calculated in my form16. I have calculated my HRA exempt and updated in ITR form field(please find screenshot attached), however the tax payable filed doesn't get updated. What am i doing wrong?

You are showing exempt HRA under reporting section , but to claim tax benefit, have you reduced eligible exempt HRA from non exempt allowances ..if no, how on earth will your chargeable salary get reduced taking into account reduced HRA allowance on account of eligible HRA exemption i.e 211939 Rs...
