  • How to show HRA in ITR 1
I made my ITR submitted and verified, now its found that i have not shown HRA deduction in page 4 of ITR 1. But, i deduct ed HRA from my Gross total amount initially.. is it a mistake...if so, how to refile my ITR

You can file revise return by visiting the e-filing page. Mind to select sec 139(5) and you need to mention the e-filing reference and date of original return.

It would be same thing i.e if gross was say x and you have reduced gross by eligible HRA exemption then when you compute non exempt allowances , then the value of non exempt allowances will automatically factor in the HRA exemption and there should be no problem .....please select query category pro...

She can surely file ITR 1 showing tution income as income from other sources and little bit savings under other sources ....check my tutorials on youtube for tution income and you should be able to do it ...all the best

You need to show income chargeable as 627068 as this derived after exempt income of 1500/-. However this sec 10 exempt will be shown in allowance exempt for reporting purpose in page 5.

What return prefills is gross ...you are required to edit it and arraive at chargeable income of 627068 but by breakup basis i.e show basic pay and then show non exempt allowances ...check video answer option for this answer to know the process

There will be no notice served ...file ITR 1 for refunding the TDS ...check video solution for this answer for live solution ...select question category properly else next time query will be deleted from the site
