Respected Sir,

I observe a case where a pension holder, age 68 years (one rank one pension which impose in 3.2.2016) received arrear in FY 2016-17 Rs. 100000. can i claim relief u/s 89 in respect of this arrear in AY year 2017-18?

FY 2016 17 is nothing but AY 2017 18 .....so obviously if you received any arrears in FY 2016 17 , you will seek benefit in FY 2016 17 i.e AY 2017 18 only ...arrears relief as like salary is also available for pension under section 89 ...you can surely claim pension relief!

can i e file income tax return for financial year 2014-2015 AY 2015-2016 .
i want to efile bacause of receive a non-fillers Monitoring System Email.
I want to FILE ALSO FORM 10E and wants relief 89(1)

For FY 2014 15 , you can still file belated return till 31/03/2017 and likewise for FY 2015 16 you can file belated return until 31/03/2018.
