Dear Amlan,
Can you please clarify how a retired pensioner can shows his total pension income in new ITR-1 with the new break up for the Assessment Year 2018-19 (As he does not get any form-16). Your new video clarifies how to filling ITR-1 with form 16 only.

Say the pensioner gets pension 80,000 in the year , all of it can be added to the regular salary in absence of form 16 ...there will be no problem ......

Basically what it is stating here that the income in 26 as reflects gross salary whereas you have presented chargeable salary ...so ,they want to know the salary income exemptions and deductions that make up for the difference ....check this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lthwwwupth4
