  • Difference in salary income in return and 26 as
Dear amlaan sir
My friend is salaried person but he select wrong category itr4 at the place of itr1 by mistake in AY 2018-19.Then Itr 4 processed nd he got intimation of rs 32944 in September 2019..What he do??And by how method he convert itr 4 in itr1 for AY 2018-19..So plz suggest me

Selecting a ITR doesn't generate a demand ...he may anytime revise to correct the return he actually needs to file which would depend on his scope of taxable income

If your wife bank FD has been done using your money, then yes, you should be clubbing your income ... You are right that

R/s Sir, My ITR FY2019-20 processed ,verified & Refunded claimed amount in Aug-2019. in same ITR by d mistake i put less amount of home loan interest. So it is possible to resubmit/recorrection for correct amount of home loan interest. plesae kindle suggest

After processing , revision is not possible but you can try for online rectification and take up the case with your assessing officer...
