Hi sir,
I want to fill form 10E for finance year 2018-19 before March 2019. But during form filling, while choosing the assessment year, 2019-20 is not showing.
If I choose assessment year 2018-19, will my form be rejected.
Please give any suggestion regarding this situation.

I dunno where exactly are you referring to ...If this refers to the assessment year while selecting the form the form itself, you have to mention the the correct assessment year ...You should by no chance select wrong assessment year because it would imply imply completely wrong portrayal of year f...

I dunno where exactly are you referring to ...If this refers to the assessment year while selecting the form the form itself, you have to mention the the correct assessment year ...You should by no chance select wrong assessment year because it would imply imply completely wrong portrayal of year for receipt of arrears etc and would be anyways disallowed or create problems if bought under scrutiny.....2.) Inside the form , there is one form error which is about the heading of the field ...though required to fill in assessment year , it mentions previous year ...this becomes clear when you put in wrong figures of year inside the form ...department should be correcting it shortly .......

Thanx for being so kind to help peoples in filling their returns.
Sir, I have a doubt and want to clarify from you that while filling Form 10E, I should file total income of current year and previous year as Gross total income or Taxable total income?

It is total income ( total income itself means taxable income) as shown in the form ...basically, you compute tax on total income with and without arrears and likewise for the years for which the arrears are paid ...just be careful that in the table you put up assessment year rather than previous ...

Amlan sir what should I do when there is a message error showing in 10E of ANNEXURE1 calculation of TABLE A. There is a previous year box the title of box is fy from which arrears belongs to. Check my video for the same ..It is indeed assessment year( as you have correctly inferred) and department will do better by writing it assessment year( until they do , there is hardly anything you or i can do about such stupidity) .....Say previous year 2016 17 arrears is received in 2017 18 , then for arrears in 2016 17 , assesse will write year 2017 -18(assessment year) even though heading is previous year and logically implies 2016 17 ...<br /><br />Under rectification option , you should select reprocess the case..i have put under recommended videos that as well ....do it and check ...they have to consider ...if original file has been processed , submit rectification else revision shall do<br /><br />Go and meet the assessing officer once , the call operators know less than you do!<br />Quiet possibly the country we live in , the assessing officer may also be a illiterate bastard , if everything fails raise a appeal ...i will make a video for that shortly ( this is also available under forms)!<br />P.s - Excuse my language , i share your and others pain in the journey!

Hi in 10 e annexure 1 (I pointed in picture) 1 Total income (excluding salary received in arrears or advance in this did I need to include income from other sources or just need to fill income from only by salery

(1) Meri salary se income 3.5 lakhs hai (2)arrears 1 lakhs mila hai (3) ek tv game show se 1akh rs mile hai 30% TDs kat kar 70000 diye
